The 12 tracks on the album were built through the gradual accretion of improvised and electronic material, assembled into emergent forms over a 3 year period. Broshy gathers harpsichords, synthesizers, celestas, dulcimers, and pianos and transmutes them into bright, angular assemblages while tracing the erratic contours of ordinary feeling, thought, and encounter.
